Rekom has won the tender for the collection and treatment of wood waste for Steinkjer municipality. The assignment involves the management of approximately 2,500 - 3,000 tonnes of wood waste annually. The contract lasts for two years with the possibility of extensions up to two years.

The criterion for winning the tender was the lowest price. There was also a requirement that the vehicles being used for the assignment support the environmentally friendly Euro Class 6 technology or better.
The assignment involves transport and treatment of wood waste from the Tranamarka Waste Reception Facility in Steinkjer. The assignment involves an annual volume of approximately 2,500 – 3,000 tonnes of waste. The contract takes effect on May 1, 2017, and has a length of two years with the possibility of a one + one-year extension.
