Rekom respects your privacy. Consequently, we are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy describes Rekom corporate policy regarding processing of personal data, the security measures we employ to protect such data and your right to access, rectify or delete such data and the right to complain.

Rekom takes privacy seriously and is committed to comply with this Privacy Policy as our minimum standard and your data will be processed and transferred for specific and legitimate purposes in accordance with applicable laws.

This Policy creates a framework that provides a secure level of protection for the personal information that is used, collected and transferred within Rekom and trusted external parties. Rekom uses the minimum amount of personal information required.

Our CEO is responsible for the company’s privacy policy and please be aware we may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. This policy is effective from May 2018.

What we collect and what we do with the information

Typically, data processing activities on websites are on the one hand, contact forms, email subscriptions and the like, where the personal data is explicitly requested and submitted directly by the user, and cookies and online tracking on the other.

Every time you access our website and each time a file is opened information that is transmitted by your browser is stored in a log-file. Details may include the file name, the date and time of the request, the transferred data volume, the access status and the client’s IP address. This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and will not be evaluated. No personal web browsing profiles or similar personal profiles are created or processed and no other third party has access to your personal data.

Rekom collects information such as your name and contact information including email address, website usage data.

If you are a subscriber to our newsletter, your name and email address will be stored at our newsletter provider Campaign Monitor. If you have accepted tracking, we will collect your e-mail, name, company, the timestamp for opening of the newsletter, your IP address location, if you have clicked any links contained in the newsletter and information about your email client. You can at any time unsubscribe from our newsletter by following the link attached in the newsletter.

For marketing, sales, promotional mails and customer relations services Rekom collects your data to better understand your needs. We use them to improve the products and services we provide, to contact you in response to a specific enquiry, to improve our website and to contact you.

As a part of our human relations we store information (name, address, birthdate, personal security number, wage, CV, diploma, next of kin, bank account etc.) regarding our past and current employees. Data collected in relation to recruitment processes will be deleted for candidates who does go further in the recruitments process.

Rekom uses Google Analytics to analyse the usage of our web site. Google Analytics is a net analysis service from Google and uses cookies to analyze how the user is using the web site.  This anonymously tracks your usage to better understand how to improve our site. We get information about which pages are the most visited, at what time the pages are visited, and how visitors navigate.
